Be warned

As the EULA suggests, I make no promises on the DSD (or anything else for that matter). I have gotten some emails saying the files DSD produces are not compatible with some programs while others say it works like a charm. Make sure things work before deleting your original files.

I myself am not using DSD and do not need it - I wrote it just as a public service since people seemed to think it would be useful.

02.27.2006 -- Command Line option added

Added a command line utility which does the exact same thing as DSD does. It's called DSDCmd.exe and is installed as part of the new version.

Due to popular demand, I added a feature to give an alternate output directory.

06.18.2005 -- Watched folders feature added

DSD now knows how to watch for changes in directories. When a file is added to those directories, it will now automatically dump its contents.

DirectShow Dump

DirectShow Dump is a debugging App that allows you to extract (into a file) what the output of a DirectShow filter is. It is easy to use, employs asynchronous I/O for optimal performance and can batch-process files.
